[MSX] play .rom/.msx/.msx1 games on a MSX 1?

Hello folks!

is it possible to download and play roms on a MSX 1? My tapedeck just broke and i want to know if it is possible (since tape = audio, so msx games are stored as audio) to use a DVD drive or PC to play the rom "music" (a wav or mp3 or so...) and then load it on a msx? so my question, "Is it possible to convert a rom file to a audio file wich i can play on a computer?" or any other way to play these downloaded roms?

This has been done with the Commodore 64 but I am not aware of it having been done on the MSX. Google it.
