PROBLEM WITH MAME ROMS!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE!!
I DOWNLOADED ALL METAL SLUG MAME GAMES AND I PLACED THEM IN THE ROM FOLDER, THEN WHEN I ACTIVEATE THEM IT KEEPS TELLING ME THAT THE ROM CAN NOT PLAY BECAUSE THERE IS A ONE OR MORE ROMS MISSING OR CHD IMAGENS .
CAN ANY BODY TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM... ???? IM USING THE LATEST MAME0139 SHOULD I USED A OLDER VERSION.....?? PLEASE HELP.. I HAVE THIS PROBLEM NOT JUST FOR THIS SERIES BUT FOR OTHER S TOO...

You didn't mess with any of the names, right? All roms have a certain name they must keep to be recognized. For example, Metal Slug 2 must be "mslug2.zip".

For Neogeo games you also need the "neogeo.zip" in your roms folder, which can be downloaded here: http://www.theoldcomputer.com/roms/down ... 9nZW8uemlw

I DOWNLOAD THE NEOGEO AND I PLACE IT IN MY ROM FOLDER BUT NO LUCK...
I ALSO HAVE NOT CHANGE THE NAMES OF THE GAMES... WHAT OTHER SUGESTIONS WOULD YOU GIVE ME..

*shrugs* I don't really know my way around MAME too well either.

Try using MAMEUI: http://www.theoldcomputer.com/emulators ... WIN/MAMEUI

I downloaded MAMEUI 0.137 from the emulator section of this site. I then downloaded the "mslug.zip" and "neogeo.zip" from the MAME 0.137 roms section also on this site, and put them in the "roms" folder. I started up MAMEUI and browsed to Metal Slug in the list and double clicked it. I then proceeded to play Metal Slug.
