some forums have a rep system (give rep for good post,tuts,etc) does phpbb support that

There is a system foir phpbb3 that allows users to give kudos or status to other users for posts etc. I tried to implement it but it did not work properly. I might try installing it again in the future.

The one thing about rep that I dislike is that when people your post (100+, 1000+) it takes up that space underneath the post with the people who repped. Sometimes thats annoying

Update : I have found a REP system that is quite good I think. It is also quite involved. I am working on it now and will hopefully upload it soon.

Phew,

It took me quite a while to code change and then thread it into the phpbb3 code but here we have it guys. We now have a 'thanks for the post' rep system.

For any post on the forum you can click the thumbs UP to give thanks or if you change your mind then click thumbs down to remove thanks. Each member will have stats stored for thanks given and thanks received.

Also, topics will show the overall average thanks by all members that vote. Each Post that you thank will record your thank you below that post.
