Found the time to do some more work on my room, since the locker cabinet me and a pal built downstairs is almost finished.
This project is also nearing it's end (and beginning!
); the Mac project will come after
.
Anyhow, last saturday I picked up a relative cheap glass audio/video cabinet:

All fits in nicely, except for the PC. But since there ain't no money-tree in the backyard, a new PC case will just have to wait
.
After placing the cabinet and thus moving all the equipment from behind the curtains to in front of the curtains, some cable work had to be done. Cable management to be exact. Since I had to cross my room somewhere and I didn't want to use a bumby ugly white cable trench, I decided to tape the cables on a thin plastic ''bar?''.

Afterwards: The taping had to be quite precice to not trash my carpet.

As you can see I've put another (laid back) coach in the room. The back will be just above the sub, not touching it (but feeling it!
). Have to find a nice place for all the remotes though.
I still have to paint the speaker holding-block. Got the paint 'n all ready to go.. but just gotta find some more time.

And, the final result so far, with some Lego on the background:
- Code: Select all

Things to do:
* Find a place for the remote, beverages etc
* Continue working on the ceiling (for LED lighting)
* Paint the speaker holders and finetune some spots I missed (unfortunatly)
Cheers mates!
