Private messages - SOLVED

Hello,
I have a very strange issue. I have a brand new user that has sent me a Private message but i cant see a reply button. Also when i select compose a message it tells me i havent been active enough on the boards to use this feature, if that is true , how did this new user with 1 post send me a private message

Can you supply me the username of the person that PM'ed you. You should also be able to PM indivdual people at the minute. Try PMing me the users name to see if it works.

Sorry i cant see any reply box anywhere. i also tried clicking on your name hoping there would be a option to PM you directly but i cant see any. Feel free to log in under my name to see for yourself

I cant actually see anyones password so that is not possible. You can PM me just by using the PM button to the right of this post. I am not sure what is going on with yours. When you are in your messages section you should be able to create and PM anyone from the site.

ok i can see a "report this message button " , a "quote" button and a " Thanks " button on the screen. Other than that , on the side i can link into your avatar details, how many thumbs up you have and have given and a link to your website but still cant see anything that says "PM"

I hope this is just a bug and not a sign that i have lost my mind

LOL, the PM button is to the left of the email button which are both just below the 'MY FAV System' text. If you cant see these then take a screen grab for me and post it here.

Well that's why i cant see them there is nothing but a picture with Planet earth on it under fav-system.

I didnt think you were going mad until you made that post.

OK I want you to check out your PM options now. I have cleaned out the cache and also checked some settings for you to help. Hopefully this will have fixed the issues that you were having.
