Hello everyone.
i have started this topic so our members can share photos of their gaming/computing treasures that they have bought, traded for, etc..
please keep all post to this topic clean and in the good spirit of which it is intended.

i'll get this topic started by sharing this little gem:

i picked up this GameShark Pro for GameBoy Pocket/Color yesterday at a pawn shop for $3.00. it works perfectly and has 230 codes already programed in to it. i also got a SanDisk 32MB MultiMedia card (MMC) for $1.00 (i thought it was a 32GB SD card   ).

Well now .. where do I start 8-) , I have spent most of my life collecting so to start this off I will go with my current refurbishment project, which I am happy to report I have just finished and is now fully working again. I bought this 10 years ago for around £100. While in storage it had some chip failures. Recently I took it out of storage to test it and discovered then that it needed some love. Several chips later (PLA, CPU, SID) it is alive and working again.

I give you the awesome SX64

i got this yesterday as a gift. it's a Sega Genesis Classic Console made by ATGames (marketed as the ATGames Firecore in Europe).
sega_wannabe.JPG

this came with 37 Genisis games, 3 Mortal Kombat games (1,2 &3 [not UMK3]), 40 bonus games for a total of 80 built-in games, and two wireless 6 button controllers that interface with the console via IR connection. it also has a cartridge slot and is compatible with most genesis games.
but the audio for all of the built-in games that i have tried, have problems with the pitch/tone being either higher or lower than the original games. it's a minor issue, but it's enough to annoy me. :bowser:

i was checking out an A/V store that had moved in to a building that once housed the local Radioshack before it closed for good last year.
when the new store's owner bought the place he also got all of the remaining inventory that the old Radioshack still had when it closed.
so i was looking at the old inventory that was on display and i found this:

it was marked down from $69.99 to $10.00. but it did not come with a cartridge so it is useless at the moment. :bowser:

i got lucky and was able to go back to that store yesterday.
i got even more lucky when i found out that they did have at least one cartridge for the XaviX PORT
IMG_20161001_064443.jpg

this is the tennis game for the XaviX PORT. the box included the cartridge, two rackets and the instruction manual.
and it was marked down from $49.00 to $10.00 :D
but they did not have any other software for the XaviX Port. so i'll just have to settle for what i have at the moment.

I picked up a used PSP Go (in brand new condition) for $69.99 USD a couple of months back. I'll figure out what else I have that's rare or something. :hi:

I don't know why it's sideways, clicking on it makes it show correctly. Meh.
