I'm using Windows 8.1 x64 and to be honest with Start8 I think I like it more than Windows 7, but to each their own. I don't have any problems running software, just a couple of games won't run in 8.1, nothing worth shaking a fist over. Fallout 3 and Battlefield 3... I think I'll live lol. :hi:

I am finally running Windows 10 which involved me losing patience with Windows Update to download it for me, downloaded the ESD file instead, directly from Microsoft, converting it into an ISO, installing it to a USB drive, upgrading my former Windows 7 installation making it fully activated and doing finally a fresh install with the newly created USB drive.

It is basically Windows 8.1 with a Start Menu combined with the old Start Screen. Apps now run in their proper windows but seem a bit more buggy at this time compared to Windows 8.1 as a few had just crashed a few times... They only released it yesterday so I am not worried about it and will get better. I find the flat look a bit ugly and not as refined as Windows 8.1 and prefer the old Windows 8.1 login screen compared to the current one. Besides that, I am pretty happy with it and glad I got it for free :D

i'm staying with windows 7 ultimate 64-bit on my HP. i know that my machine will run win 10 (thank you GWX.exe for the info) , but i don't like using an OS that is JUST released. it's going to be buggy and i'll be spending more time downloading patches and updates than i would spend actualy using the computer.i have other reasons for not upgrading but i won't bore everyone with my stuborness

After some time with Windows 10 Pro x64 on my machine I'd have to say I really enjoy the experience. Things work faster and there doesn't seem to be any issues with anything. Hell, even the games that weren't working in Windows 8.1 are now working in Windows 10, go figure (Yes I'm looking at you Fallout 3). Personally, I don't honestly see any reason to not upgrade to Windows 10. Anyone clutching onto Windows 7 because they're weary of a new OS, while I don't blame you, it's time to move on. Windows 7 had it's run, it was great, but honestly... Windows 10 blows the doors off of Windows 7. Just make sure you turn off all that spyware crap they put in the core of the OS, and make sure to un-install cortana. Aside from that, you're golden. :hi:

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on my work rigs but I have just upgraded my home rig and also installed Windows 10 so I will be using it now as well.
