Musicians topic

Postby stinow » Fri Sep 02, 2011 9:06 am

While looking through the Retro game music topic, I couldn't help but notice there wasn't any retro game music musicians topic.

Well, here it is! This can be the spot to bring idea's (let others hear your work?) and find other creative mates to group with.

As of now I'll start by offering my drum services for anyone interested in making some (retro) game music together (I'm an average player).

Bottom's up!

I would love to make some NES music... I just don't have any programs for that. :3

Hi lad, I've got a tool somewhere (don't how how it works exactly yet.. modulation and stuff).

For starters we could try:
- SNES Mario Paint (emu?)
- LSDJ + gameboy (emu?)

Cheers!

The animations are copyright newgrounds, they are not mine, you can change the animation to anything you like by single left clicking the animation. :3

The song was compiled with MAGIX Music Maker 14 Professional Edition Download Version with MAGIX Soundloop DVDs (11, 12, 15, 16). Nothing else was used. :3

Thank you though, I do appreciate the love. :hi:

Oh, and a starter tool for making music on the NES would be FamiTracker. I just couldn't learn how to use it easily... it's a difficult program. >.>'
