Saw this on facebook, I did not know this, and am wondering does this only work on Windows OS, or would it be unversal. Also curious, as to other keyboard tricks and tips any body knows of.

It does not matter what OS they are for, but identification of what OS your trick or tip is for would be a nice bonus. Thanks

Though this is posted in modern computing tips and tricks for vintage systems would be appreciated as well.

As far as I know, those will only work on Windows, Linux and Mac have their own character map.

I didn't know about windows+pause until about 2 years ago.
Good for quickly seeing what hardware a Windows PC has.

(works with win95 -> win7. Don't know about 3.1 and 8.1)
