Need some microphone help...

I disabled my noise suppression / noise cancellation from my mic earlier today, and then I went to re-enable it and the option was completely gone out of my microphone properties... I'm just kinda wondering how I can re-enable it... because now my mic is picking up my fans and has a constant feedback sound going on and it's rather annoying...

Have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers for your mic if possible?
Making sure to also remove and settings and preferences that may be left behind after you uninstall.
