That's a copy protection.

Do you have warcraft as an ISO file or CD or just unpacked folder on your harddisk?

You need a No-cd patch, but i don't know it this is against the policies to provide information about this.

Warcraft 2 , such a great game , i spent 3 hours playing this last night.

I have 2 copys on CD.To get them working in dosbox i had to mount audio track as d: drive and the Data as E:/ drive. ( so that is 2 drives mounted from one cd). Im not sure if this is a Linux issue only OR if it also affect windows people also but just keep that in mind if you find a CD.

I did try to Make you a image last night but in creates .BIN and .CUE file not a ISO, and when i mount it there is no audio tracks so it wont let you in the single player games.

If you do want the .Bin .cue files i can upload them somewhere that you can grab them. ... I wonder if i burn them back to a CD if both the audio and the data will be there, i didn't think of that last night.

When I've lost a cd from a game I own, I usually check gamecopyworld.com for a file to keep the game running.

The only way it would be against site rules would be if you told them to pirate it Roman78. Since you're basically providing instructions on how to No-CD it, that's acceptable (provided you use a legal method that doesn't involve pirating). :3

Basicly i just went into the PC roms section and downloaded the warcraft 2 file and since im using mac osx i figured i had to us DOSbox. being the newb that i am i figured all that i needed was in the warcraft 2 file that i downloaded off the site. didnt realize i had to have the ISO file as well. . .

is there a way that i could "No CD" it legally. I dont see how that would be possible?
