You would take too much of a loss on the i7 original price in order to build a new bulldozer system. It would not make sense to me.

Why not just build up a little system for the wife anyways.

HT, you're right. I'll do that.
(have to admin: I was also attracted to the AMD mainboards because they -fully- support SATA-600 speeds,
but no 1156 boards do. My SSD is sata-600 (OCZ 3))
