My speeds are nothing like you guys. You would be amazed at what i am using to upload and maintain this site. Try 8MB down and 1MB up.

I pay $77 a month for JUST my internet connection. I don't even have cable TV OR phone service with Comcast. JUST INTERNET. So I'm definitely getting what I've paid for don't you think?

What you have is decent, don't get that wrong. I would have killed freakin' 6 years ago when I was living with my parents for that speed. They have it now, but then I was lucky if it were 1 Mbit/s down and 140 Kbit/s up. >.> Now I get what I pay for. And that's just the result from here. I've seen my connection average out to around 22 Mbit/s down and 3.5 Mbit/s up. That's where I usually are in my connection. For some reason though this place didn't test as well. I usually use www.dslreports.com and connect to the speak easy server for the DL/UP test. Flash 8 version. Works nicely. Saw my connection spike one time to 35 Mbit/s down and 11 Mbit/s up (BUT ONLY A SPIKE). Comcast is supposedly upping their connection stuffs to 50 Mbit/s down max (unsure of the up) and the 16 Mbit/s down subscribers like myself are going to get 25 Mbit/s down and 4 Mbit/s up for sure (at no extra charge, that's the connection that costs the same as what I'm paying now, can't wait!

I upload a lot of stuff to flicker (among some video work I do that also gets uploaded). I'm more concerned with my upload than anything, If mediaslut offered a higher tier in my area I'd probably pay for it to get the increased upload.

I pay 88.25 for 20/2 + Broadcast Basic. (There's a 15 dollar fee for not having any other services, and broadcast basic was only $25. I mostly leave PBS on for the chillins.)
