running emus and roms on a usb drive

Postby nightshade » Sun Dec 14, 2014 1:47 am

Ok on my laptop i have all my roms and emulators but what i was wondering is can i store/use them them on one of those little usb drives that sort of work like a ps2 mem card ? that way i dont have to clog up my aunts comp with a ton of my stuff ?

shes really in the dino ages on pc stuff as most of my family and still beleives some of the old pc wives tales (ie having more than one window slows down the comp... ect)

thanks

hello nightshade. :)
you can run any emulator you want from a usb drive. in fact, you can also run emulators from SD cards, Compact Flash drives and any another storage devices that a computer can interface with. right now i've got an NES emulator running from a MP3 player that is connected to my USB port. :bowser:
