PS/2 or USB solution for Win 98 PC

Postby stinow » Thu Sep 13, 2012 8:41 am

Hi there,

Does anyone know of a good (and tested) solution to get a "modern" PS/2 or USB keyboard and mouse to work on my:

P1 166 with Windows 98?

I'm thinking about an USB PCI card or something, but will that be compatible with Win 98 and with most old games?

Thanks for the info!

You should be able to get a PCI 1.1 spec card that will work inside a windows 98 computer, just about.

Darn, found one! For €2,50 hehehe. And W'98 is supported.
Will get my old PC-in-a-beer-case(mod) from upstairs again.

Was my first casemod ever, it's from the P1 166mhz days, so you can say one of the earlier casemods around I think :eh: .
