Kirby's Adventure... dear god that game was so much fun. I remember getting it for my birthday... only it was a trick and here's why:

My mother and father knew I had an unhealthy addiction to video games by the time I turned 5. I spent all of my time on them. When I turned 6 I had your normal birthday party for a 6 year old and all was well - had a few friends over and we had a blast and ate cake and the whole nine yards. Well, the time came to open my presents, and I got quite a few things from my friends. Got two super soaker squirt guns (the old green ones from when they were starting to get really big back in '93) and a few other trinkets one gets when they're 6. Anyway, my parents handed me their birthday gift - A box full of socks. I couldn't believe my eyes. Socks. And they were all way too big for me... which is what tipped me off. I started taking all the socks out, and got to the bottom of the box... and still nothing. I was kinda confused... so I started looking at the box. It still had some weight to it for being a thin sweater box with virtually nothing in it... so I started looking at the sides of the box when I noticed that the inside of the box wasn't as thick as the whole box was... it was unnaturally thin... so I started looking to see if it came out... and it did! Underneath the hidden compartment was a copy of Kirby's Adventure and Code Name: Viper for the NES. I couldn't stop playing Kirby... I beat it in no less than 2 days... and for the age of 6, two days to beat a full length adventure game was fast.

I was forever hooked to Kirby and I've played every game in the series except for the yarn one. Such a great game series. Thanks for the review. :hi:
