Our latest addition to the database is the very rare and odd Tandy Memorex VIS (Visual Information System)Roms section. This multimedia console was released in 1992 as Tandys answer to the home multimedia revolution and was similar to Philips CD-i. The system was sold in Radio Shack stores for $699 and did not do well. It made a huge loss for Tandy and coined the new acronym of Virtually Impossible to Sell.
