When do you plan on having Gamecube roms? Is this a ways off?

Could I be responsible for collecting and testing Gamecube roms to add to the TOC site? Or only HT or one of the moderators can take this responsibility?

Its more of the fact that GC games would still be somewhat iffy on the legal side of things. Just like xbox games mentioned in another thread.

The choice of whether to host them here or not is up to Hot Trout

By all means collect them for me and have them ready. That said at present I dont think it would be a good idea to host such recent roms on the site.

I will say this again, we are all about preserving old systems that are no longer financially viable for their owners. I do not want to harm ANY of the manufactures that we love so much. Nintendo Gamecube is too recent. We will eventually host such roms but only after it is considered old.

In the meantime collect the original games carts while they are cheap. In 10 years they will be the price of Atari 2600 carts.

Hey is this an option now? Gamestop no longer sells gamecube games, Nintendo has remodeled the Wii to have no gamecube support & I haven't seen gamecube games anywhere but used.

The Nintendo Wii (and maybe Wii U?) still runs them though? Could this be an issue?

I have checked my collection of roms and it stands at just over 720GB in size. In order to add this section we will really need a lot more server space.

I am working away in the background to hopefully make this happen soon.
