I have decided to learn HTML, and I was wondering what would be a good book/website learn the basics? I've been looking at random HTML files I have left on my computer and know a few things, but I still have a long way to go until I master it.

you dont manually code webpages in HTML. I use dreamweaver to creatge page layouts and animation in Adobe Flash. I made this site over the this weekend http://www.mansionhousewills.com for a client, and rebuilt our own site http://www.lawsuite.co.uk is of similar makeup. Its nearly all drag-drop construction.

You dont need coding skills apart from the action script for the banner. For high-functionality stuff such as http://www.willwritingadvice.co.uk does need a bit more coding savvy to make the Applets.

Thanks for the links, I will check them out in detail next time I am on the web for a while. I don't have the Internet at home anymore so I am stuck going to WiFi hotspots.

If you have some wifi close by you could hook up a repeater somewhere to jack up the distance and possible make it to your home.. Theres an idea haha

One of my neighbors used to have wifi, but he moved before we came back from Wisconsin.
