home build Mario Bros based arcade cab

Hello,

Let me first introduce myself : my name is Marco and I live in the Netherlands. I had a lot of original arcade cabs (over 100 at least) and many pinballs + some twin sitdown racers and other stuff. At a certain point in life I moved to another house which had a lot of great things BUT unfortunately not much space for cabs. So I had to sell most of it.

Anyway, I decided to make a smaller cab with a pcb in it with over 400 classic games. It is meant to be played seated (it is approx. 130cm high). I made it from scratch, so forget the dull intro, maybe you enjoy some pictures ;-)

Welcome and thanks for your post. I have to say that the cabinets in the picture look superb and just like a real arcade system. Do you sell these?

thanks, it was great fun to build. It took me 6 days full-time working on it. A lot of hours but not bad for a week work :-)

Sell? I just made this one. But I will make another Mario Bros soon (this one was a gift for a friend) and after that I will start on a mini Tron (again, approximately the same size as the Mario Bros). This is the side art of the Tron that I finished.

So sell : who knows, I am considering to build a few for that purpose :-)

Well, If it was possible to get one to me I would love one for our work. How much would it cost me? Maybe a mini one?

parts (especially artwork + 412-in-1 pcb + electronics/controls/audio ) where expensive...but the hours to make it are the real expensive part. So unfortunately it would be something like 750-800 euro, depending on exact configuration. A lot of money but it is worth it in my opinion :-)

Totally worth it but I just can't afford it. Still saving for our webserver upgrade I am afraid.
