Hi,

I have been looking for a game for a while now. I played it long ago and all I can remember is that it you have to save heroes, such as Indiana Jones, the Goonies character or Double Dragon etc. Then you can play with them to complete next stages. In some cases you cant complete a next stage without specific heroes.

It was a 2-player game and I think the main characters you have in the beginning is a cat with a superhero costume.

Does anyone know the name of the game?

Are you sure you aren't just making this up, lol? Any idea what system it was for?

I'll bet that it was some fan made game or ROM hack or something. I don't think there is an actual licensed game that is like that (a crossover with those characters).

My memory might by a bit fuzzy on all the details, but I am almost sure that the basics of the game was about saving these "heroes" etc. It is probably a NES or SNES game, because we played it with the casette.

I remember saving Donkey Kong who was able to through bananas and the Goonies kid who could fit in small spaces or walk below low some hanging walls. When fighting the stage bosses that "heroes" was in a cage and beating the boss will give you that caracter. After you saved all of the heroes you fly to another planet and the game become almost like Twin Bee.

Hmmm - this does sound like a "made-up" game the more I read it, but at least it was fun playing it... :)

If played with a cassette it was probably a computer game, The computers I know that had cassette were the Commodore, Coleco, Sinclair, there may have been others.
NES, SNES used cartridges.
