I have just finished adding some new code to the roms section that lists the top 20 most downloaded roms of all time in order. I also added the top 20 systems based on total downloads as well. You can see these new lists at the right hand side of the main rom screen.

It makes for interesting reading. I plan on adding a download number for each as well.

While compiling these figures I got a figure for the total number of downloads from the site since the new ROM engine went in (approx 2 years ago) ... are you sitting down, the total number of downloads of roms is 29,525,337 thats

29 Million, 525 thousand, three hundred and thirty seven

Thats over 40,000 downloads per day on average. I have also added this figure to the ROM STATS window at the top of the roms page.

A penny a download would change my life. Sadly I fear this would not be so easy. However, its still nice to know that we are most likely the largest in terms of downloads.
