Need some assistance getting a particular game

You see, I'm here for just these 2 games, so it wouldn't justify me spending a single penny to get the "unlimited" level download rights needed to get these games. I found this site on a search while looking for these 2 games. The games can both be found at

Is that because there's some hidden rule that you can't use the forums to avoid the site's normal pay to download process, or just that you don't know how to use torrents, or maybe that you yourself don't have the payed status?

Also I HAVE tried google. I've gotten 2 things.
A torrent with NO SEEDS! and
http://www.theoldcomputer.com which makes it so I have to PAY to download most games

I have found ZERO additional places to acquire this game.


Making someone seed a torrent would be a "fools erand". My best hope to EVER GET THIS GAME IN MY ENTIRE LIFE is to somehow talk the admins at this site into giving me a free "Unlimited" account.

If I fail at this, I may DIE OF OLD AGE before getting to play this game.

Yes, you are right, I am unpaid status, which is my choice at the moment, I see no need to donate at the moment, as I do not attempt to download as yet from the site. I am here because I support the concept of somehow preserving the retro scene. I also have enough retro belongings and systems to more than satisfy my personal needs. I just volunteer and try to help the site by contribution to it. I do my best to my capabilities.

I sincerely hope that you get your games. I am only a moderator, and can not help.

@Crusty, you never cease to amaze me with your wit and insight. Thats a great idea and I would have never even have thought of it.

@DaHentaiGuy, it would be immoral to say the least, for anyone, such as myself, to use their Unlimited status to download the games for you and then distribute them to you. We work hard as a group on this site to preserving and expanding our collection of the retro scene. As you stated yourself, some of these games can be quite rare. Its only through the help of individuals such as ourselves from across the globe, that we may acquire such a wide spread collection.

Also, there is no reason to get snippy with other members, let alone a moderator, or, heaven forbid, the admin. We suggest members to contribute by donating some money ($10 - which is less than the price of a single meal, depending on your location) to help support our cause and to help HT deal with the hosting fees every month.

I guess I could put it this way: Are the games that you want worth it to you? or not? If they are, then spend the money and contribute to a greater cause. Every new member is another step forward for us, and its always a great joy, even personally, to find that a new member has decided to join us on the forums and share his thoughts. I love hearing the insight from others! I dont know everything and there are so many people that know more about one subject than I do. I seek those people out to help broaden my own horizons. I urge you to join us here, as we welcome everyone to our family.

Having read this thread and the other thread that you started in the NEWS forum I have a few things to say. Firstly your attitude towards the admins and members of this community is somewhat surprising, given that you were trying to blag a free Unlimited account. Can I suggest that next time you loose a bit of the attitude and maybe, just maybe other members might give you some consideration.

The games that you are unable to find anywhere on the internet are indeed very difficult to come by. At The Old Computer we pride outselves on having easily the largest and oldest collection of Roms and Emulators anywhere on the web. This collection take a lot of hard work to pull together, it also requires a lot of real money every month to store, host and provide bandwidth to for everyone to enjoy. The donation system for receiving an Unlimited account is by no means expensive. I would consider $10 for two games that you can not find anywhere else a bargin not to mention the 240,000 other roms here that you could then download, unless of course you already have all of them.

Can I suggest that you either pay the $10 or enter the competition. Either way, unless you change your attitude and use of language on these forums both to the members and more importantly the team of Admins that do such a superb job of running this site, if you do not then I will have no alternative than to ban your ass.
