Weird Breakout arcade game

I was in Italy in 1980 and saw a Breakout game that was different. When you hit a brick, instead of disappearing, it would fall to the bottom of the screen, behind the paddle creating a wall. If you missed the ball with the paddle and the bqall hit the wall, it woulld come back into the play area giving you a 2nd chance. If your paddle got hit by the falling bricks, it would disappear but as long as the wall kept the ball inside the play area, you would still get points. Has anyone else ever seen this variation? More importantly, is there a ROM of this where I could play it?

i've never heard of a breakout game like that before. whoever made it really put some thought in to it. a rom of that machine would be a nifty little treasure indeed.
