So, I joined actually a couple of years ago. I haven't been lurking, I just tend to move from one project to another pretty often. And I think I am coming back around to this one. It really is a fun one.

I did build my arcade machine... sort of. I have a really well done console panel, a good joystick, trackball, eight arcade buttons, plus about six more across the top for control functions, and one on each side in case I wanted to do a pinball thing. It is all wired and working, with hdmi and audio out. I just never got around to making a cabinet to put it all in. Still, it is pretty sweet.

I think this time I am going to build a smaller mini-tabletop box. Maybe a 7-inch screen, smaller joystick, and just three or four buttons. We shall see. I have all the buttons and such already, so yeah, let's do it.

Well welcome back and good to know you got the arcade setup. Just need to make that cabinet. We have a full thread on a member that built his cabinet. Makes for interesting reading.

My favorite platform is SNES and the N64 is a close second. Will be checking this out further!

My name is Michael Massey. The SNES has always been my fave system, with the clean, crisp graphics and the amount of RPGs that was made for the console. Thanks to emulation I am once again able to enjoy my game library once again!

welcome to the forums Mudgrubber. the SNES is one of my favorite systems aswell. i really like the fact that the SNES was able to hold its own against systems like the original Playstation and the Sega Saturn for several years.
