Who remembers Battlezone (the new version) released by Activision in approx 1998. I was just discussing this game with a mate and we both remembered it very fondly. Great graphics but even better gameplay. Its too new to be in the Abandonware section but I would love to have another play at it.

I remember. I used to play this on my grandparents computers. It was so much fun but I was no good. I was like 8. O well. Its deffinately a classic and everyone who has ever played would agree!

They had a whole series of these remade arcade games: Centipede, Millipede, Asteroids, Pong, just to name a few, and I liked them all very well.

They also have this out on the ipod touch and iPhone, which I promptly downloaded

That is indeed it and it rocked. I feel like installing just to play again. A really cool game.
