Nestopia recording

Well, Nestopia has crapped out on me. :chainsaw: I can't record any more stuff from it, because my files somehow always get corrupted. Is there another NES emulator out there that has some screen capture functionality that's on par with Nestopia? I might look into something new.

I didn't know that nestopia offered any sort of screen capturing, but I can state that FRAPS is a great program for doing it. If you look hard enough you can find a free copy of fraps on the web. :3

I have a copy of FRAPS from 2009, but for some reason it just won't start recording. I may have to get an update. :geek:

Yea it would be worth the time invested upgrading it, not to mention worth every penny. :3

FRAPS is good, but for NES recording I use FCEUX, it has a built in .avi recorder, and I use it when I record footage all the time. It can lag a little bit at at times, so u might have to try a few times, most of the time it works though. Hell I recorded some footage the other for almost 2 hours, for a upcoming review lol

It's a less legal option perhaps (software-wise); I use my original NES / SNES for this kind of stuff, connect them with the RCA connectors to my videocard or videocapture card and record it with Adobe Premiere on my pc.

Just did an upgrade to a legal CS 5.5 though ;).

That would be ideal if I still owned the console... I've been putting off getting one from my local pawn shop for a long time.
