Unreleased Sega Dreamcast Geist Force to be released shortly


If you've been keeping up with the Retro Gaming News , you’ll be well aware that the unreleased Sega Dreamcast game Geist Force was up for auction recently. With the game secured, a new gameplay video has surfaced with a promise of the game being leaked shortly.

We reported on the Geist Force auction last month, as an ex-Sega employee arrived on the AssemblerGames forums not only with unreleased games, but plenty to discuss about the golden days.

His community based auction ended up seeing the game raise $700 before being marked as sold. Sega Dreamcast fans will be pleased to know that not one single cent of that price tag has gone to waste, as Geist Force is set to be archived and shared online shortly.

Having played it extensively for testing, it is possible to overload and overheat the
dreamcast with geist force.

It may be necessary to add a fan to the dreamcast for this game, and for optimal
gameplay OVERCLOCK the dreamcast.

It is fully playable on a normal unmodded dreamcast, it's just required you stop
shooting during slowdown, then machine does not overheat and reset.
