Ps2 isos.

Postby Jayron » Wed Apr 04, 2012 4:03 pm

Hello , first i would like to say my english is not really good.

Ok well , i have now completed all my favorite Ps1 games at 100% on Epsxe , and i now want to play Ps2 on my computer.

I do own a Ps2 and the games i want to play , but the problem is that my Ps2 is broken so i can't play on it.
When i go in the Ps2 section of the roms section , i see :

Stay Tuned Roms Coming Soon.zip

And the date is : 03/17/10
We are now April 2012 and there's still no roms in it.

Do you guys plan to add Ps2 roms in the future? :hi:

To add the PS2 roms we will need an additional 1TB of storage, we are working on it and please feel free to make a huge donation and then I will soon add the PS2 roms section.

Stay tuned and we will have them here soon.

What an hasard , i was just looking the forum and you replied 3 minutes ago. 8-)

''please feel free to make a huge donation'' is that suposse to be rude ?

How much money do you need to add them on the website? I can't really make a huge donation because i'm pre-ordering Guild wars 2 the 10th april , but i can probably give a few dollars ... Not to have the Ps2 roms now , just to support your work.
I was only asking if you guys are planning to add the Ps2 roms soon , that can be answered by yes or no. :)

Thank you for the answer. I appreciate it.

I wasn't trying to be rude at all just being cheeky ;) . I actually had planned to have the PS2 roms on here before now but unlike other sites we will only add the PS2 section whenever we are able to add it in its entirety which for the PS2 means over 600GB of roms. You will notice if you look around the roms sections that we hold complete sets of everything.

You don't have to make a donation at all, I was only poking fun. I fully expect that PS2 roms will be added before the end of 2012.

Thanks for the post.

No worries Jayron. However, don't forget that HotTrout has spent his life devoted to the restoration and preservation of Computer Systems. This is very costly. So, a donation even of a few dollars (or 10 exactly to get an unlimited account) would be amazing. Anyways, It's awesome to see you here. We are very sorry we couldn't help you with what you needed.

Enjoy your day,
Jose Hernandez

about ps2 iso sizes

when it is CD based games there are tools to reduce the size in up to 20-40%

(special compression without ripping anything)

but yeah ps2 games can be huge size

god of war 9GB for example
