Last year I created Legacy OS 2 Gamer for anyone wanting to get an old Pentium III setup as a Gaming PC for their kids.

It also contains DOSBOX so you can play your favorite DOS games like I do. So far over 16,000 have downloaded it for free. :D

Downloaded the gamer Version yesterday, and will give it a try on a Dell Latitude D610, am also going to download Legacy OS 2.1 LTS and also give it a try. Will do a review of my experience. The one thing I would like to compliment you on is the documentation provided and the video on the proper way to install. Should make the installation a walk in the park.

Would also like to thank you for your efforts and all who have contributed to your Legacy OS. I am always in awe of the talent that goes into projects like this. Another thing I would like to compliment you on in your documentation, is telling it like it is about Legacy in regards to what to expect, and what not to expect. Excellent documentation, and good links to learn more about Legacy. :thankyou:

Hello Hot Trout,
SourceForge is hosting Legacy OS so users can download from there or here if you want to. If you can find a place for Legacy OS at theoldcomputer that would be great. Legacy's goal is to save old computers from ending up in landfill and to prove these old PC's can still be useful not just for games. People can only take advantage of what Legacy OS has to offer if they know it's available so any support given is much appreciated. Thanks John

Hello crustyasp46,
Thank you for your comments. I hope to provide even more documentation in the future as there's some hidden gems in Legacy OS. Normal life is slowing this down a little with a family to raise and work commitments.

Well I think that this is your natural home and I would be honored to provide you with a dedicated section for it.

Hello Hot Trout,
What information do you require for Legacy OS to be included at theoldcomputer.
Thank you in advance for your support in bringing Legacy OS to new users.
