Got a C64? Check out our new free Android application, tapDancer.

tapDancer converts .TAP to wave, then plays the file through your Android device -- which, if connected to a CD to cassette converter inserted into your Datasette, allows you to load the .TAP on your C64 (C128, VIC20, etc.)

We've tested it with a number of different loader formats, including the infamous Novaload.

You can get it free from the Google Play store. Tell us what you think of it!

Version 1.5 has been released (but may take a few hours to entirely propagate through Google Play):

* Added support for additional Commodore formats (T64 / PRG), Acorn Electron / BBC (UEF), MSX (CAS) and Atari (CAS - *Experimental*).

* Added auto-pausing functionality (available in Settings menu.)

* Added TurboTape compression support for T64 and PRG formats (3 compression levels.)

* Improved reliability of playback on Jellybean devices (re-worked the playback engine.)

* Support for alternate storage locations (such as internal storage.)

Note: All existing caches will need to be re-rendered.
