Just a crazy thought I had.

Do people still have the Floppy disks that came with the PC Magazines from the 1990's? I found 2 that I had but they are way beyond good.

I know there is a preservation effort for most systems, but it seems the IBM PC is loosing out.

My question is:
1) do anyone know if there is a site that have these disks archived.
2) do anyone here have some of them and is willing to image them, and allow us to host it.

Thanx for reading

I already have some collections of magazines with the disks still intact. I also think I can get some mag disk collections from friends. Question is do we put the magazine disks in the new upcoming mags section or into the roms section. I am thinking the magazine section would be a good location to store this.

Good idea te_lanus.

Hi HT

I would think that it would work in the Mag section. Would be great, I think, if they can be kept in the same format that they came in.

For those that want to help:
Floppies could be imaged with either rawrite for windows or Winimage (if based on a Windows machine)
or use this for dos
