Hi lads,

Tonight we went to visit my wife's dad, (who sadly has just broke up with his partner) and he asked me if I could use an old television. I thought "let's just have a look at it". And it appeared to be quite an extraordinairy appearance!

Have to find an antenna tomorrow, to see if it's still 100% working. It still looks 100% though.
Pictures are from someone else btw :).

Anyone ever seen anything like this?

I've seen one of them a age ago in a pawn shop, but it wasn't in working condition

Items similar to that were quite common here in Canada in the late 70's- 80s-?? and marketed at those rugged campers who wanted to have the comforts of home on their excursions into the deep wilds of Canada, which usually had to be in a radius of 25 to 30 miles of the television station, which meant these adventurous folk usually camped at a camp ground with electricity and running water within a 10-15 min. drive from the nearest city with a TV station.

But still a nice find for you!
