What is a VAX Ultrix DECnet rom?

Postby luckiejacky » Thu Oct 16, 2014 11:58 am

I recall, or sort of, I used a DECStation in college many years ago.
I know that was a Ultrix workstation, so is that a DECStation the same as the VAX Ultrix,
or the sort?

Thanks
Jack

The ULTRIX workstations used MIPS processors and ran DECs version of Unix. DECStations also came in X86 pc compatable formats. Check wikipedia for better background info.
