"Destructoid is reporting that the 3.42 firmware has been released for the PlayStation 3, and it has fixed the USB vulnerability that allows the PSJailbreak exploit to work."
Sony's brief announcement of the update refers only to "additional security features," though the EU blog post acknowledges that a vulnerability was addressed. PS3-Hacks.com confirms that the patch is effective against the various jailbreak tools, and they point out a different tool for bypassing the update. Sony told the BBC, "... as we always have, we will continue to take necessary actions to both hardware and software to protect the intellectual content provided on the PlayStation 3."

No problem, but it is hard to keep track of the hacks, cracks, jailbreaks, tips hints and just great ideas for both the gaming and computer platforms. A guy could keep busy 24-7 for the rest of his life and never read everything, it is amazing to me that you go to one site for info and there are links to a whole new number of sites. :shock:

I am the very same. I go onto Google to find out A to B but end up reading about C,D,E and F and then about a new letter never before seen etc etc :lol:

I really want the mod chip right now! My friend told me that he got an email from this site www.buyps3jailbreak.co.uk. They can dispatch PS3 Break at lower price, but have the same functions as ps jailbreak. I consider to choose this one.
