,i was a video games trader myself although it was some time back.(97-99) and second hand part-x on games was my bread and butter i made very little on new releases as little as £3 on each £35 game in fact but on the other hand i sold very few games,people would rarther bring several older games in and pay a little cash with them which was fine by me as it kept thing turning over and the game choice on display changed on a regular basis.Games are too expensive here in the UK and despite all the talk of game design companies struggling and suffering people never hear of any fatalities or simply do not care so people contine to hack and mod,even back in the late 90`s i saw the PS sell very well and apart from the reason the N64 was pants! one of the other reasons the PS sold well is it could be modyfied to play copies,and this continued with each next gen..the X-box Vs the GC,360 Vs PS3 so piracy does sell consoles.
