Emulator Download Problems

i've just downloaded the sega mega drive/genenis emulator and then downloaded the first of one of the games i want and then changed the game file from a zip to the emulator file the but both the emulator and the game program can't start because it says the SDL.dll is missing from my computer, what do i need to do?
