Psx4droid noob help

Hi folks, completely new to emulators and roms, so please excuse the question!

I have downloaded the Psx4droid emulator to my Sony android phone. When I load the app, it states that I MUST specify the BIOS file in the settings before I can run any ROMS.

My question: is the BIOS file included with the emulator download and can I navigate to it, or is it the phone BIOS file?

Thanks for any help!

You need to get the PSX BIOS separately and point your emulator to it.

Thank-you I have downloaded the 'any emulator bios' app and pointed the emulator to the filepath. I am however now getting a different problem.

When I open the emulator app, it asks me to point it to the filepath every time. Whenever I do this, the emulator shows me a black screen with all the joypad buttons on screen. (so far so good)

When I try to load a room it skips me back to the page asking me for the filepath of the BIOS again.

Any ideas?

I wouldn't use a separate app for the BIOS files, I would go Here First or Here Second. Both links are to our site. :hi:
