Cd-I emulator

Hey!
I downloaded the ROM of a CD-I game, Laser Lords, but when I try to play it, the emulator tells me I still need the "CD-i system ROM files".

I now have two questions, because I saw that Cd-i downloads require me to become a paying-member, which I'm more than happy to become once I know you actually have what I need:

* Do you have "unlimited" emulators for CD-i? The emulator I have now is apparently limited and won't allow me to save games.
* Do you have the CD-i system ROM files? What are they and where can I find them? And where should I put them after I found them?

Many thanks for any answers.

I am unsure of what emulator you are using that is 'limited'. whether I am not logged in or logged in with an unlimited account, I see 0 emulators listed for the CD-i.
Code: Select all
http://www.cdiemu.org/

you can try this out. the only other emulator I know of for CD-I is CD-ice, but it only run the homebrew 'Rise of the Robots'. MESS is alleged to do so, but it might be complicated. A search for some info lead me to this quote from another emulation site. "Good lord i'm already sick of this piece of shit emulator. I have all 3 FUCKING FILES and it still says i need the damn things. Fucking shitty ass CD-i can't even get emulated with ease. ROT IN HELL PHILLIPS CD-i." -Sylar1000@romulation.net, but maybe someone around here may have better luck with it and can help you out some.
