problems with stupid vista settings

I would love to know how to reset these damn "always open this type of file with this program" because now all my 32x roms have the fusion logo, instead of the zip file the should have. Now the don't work in either fusion or gens. I know the BIOS works cos everything else works and I've checked them loads of times. Thanks for any help

Go to the control panel, choose the Default Programs icon and change the program associated with the file extension.

Thanks for getting back to me mate. I tried what you said, I couldn't find winzip anywhere in that list of programs! I'll download it from somwere, that should work.

Don't use WinZip, use 7zip - it is immensely better. :3

You can also right click on a file, choose 'open with...', 'choose default program' check the box for always open with this program. this solution may not always work, then you will have to use the control panel; but it is a bit speedier if you are already viewing the file type you wish to change (and only have one extension to change)
