So I just checked out the Pokemon mini ROMs, and I didn't recognize the ROM format when I downloaded Pokemon Tetris, and I was wondering what emulator to use.

You should look at the only real emulator, Minimon Emulator for Windows. Remember to post back your findings.

Okay, after 2 days of working with Minimon, I finally got it to run Pokemon Tetris and Pokemon Puzzle Collection. It's a little different than most emulators, so here are the steps:
  • Download Minimon from Hot Trout's link, Extract it, and Open the program
  • Go to File>Load BIOS and open the bios available on TOC (yes this has to be done every time, and it does not auto-detect on my computer.)
  • Go to File>Open and select your ROM (I don't know if compressed ROMs are supported)
  • Select Control>Run>Full Speed and enjoy.

Important: Do not lose the .cfg file that comes in the archive, the program will not work without it.

Games I have gotten to work:
  • Pokemon Tetris
  • Pokemon Puzzle Collection
  • Lunch Time

Games That Have Not Worked For Me:
  • Chansey's Dribble
