PC98 Emulator help

I'm having trouble running Ultima VI for the PC9801 operating system. I downloaded Anex86, but that program seems to only accept the .fdi file format. The files I downloaded are in the .fdd file format. When I attempted to run the disks, Anex86 complains "No disk!". I'm somewhat confused how to run this file format. Am I using the correct emulator for PC98 roms? Any help would be appreciated.

it'll explain how to convert the fdd to fdi so that it's usable in anex86

Hi te_lanus. I have the same problem with Dungy for a different game (Isaku). I've read your posts and advice and Anex emulator here doesn't have 011010 sub folder and vfic, instead it have anexdiet. I've tried to run Anex86 and anexdiet, but I'm still pretty much confused. The only result I have is "no disc". What must I do to have .fdi files because all I have is .fdd files. Thanks

I did everything according to this. But for some reason I cannot get Flashback to run on it. The emulator keeps shutting down. Help !
