which genesis emu do i need for pc ?

i am trying to get both a sega genesis emulator and a psx emulator to run on a desktop pc and im not sure which ones to choose and what i need with them. In the hunt i downloaded the directx updates for the psx but i am so lost..help please?

well , i am assuming your using windows , For the sega , i use to love Kega fusion. I found it really easy to set up and use many years ago . You can get it Here

As for the play station , i use PCSX . I use the linux version but if you have any problems let me know and i will boot into windows and have a look.

I agree with Luke83 about kega-fusion, it's what I use. However, I'd highly recommend ePSXe 1.7 for the psx emu. A really simple and easy to use emulator that will also run your actual playstation games right from disc from the cd/dvd drive. ;3
