15-08-2001 More Purchases for the Collection

Just purchased a Super Nintendo (Starwing Pack), a BBC Master in Perfect condition and an Unopened NEW Atari Jaguar system. All in all quite a lot for one week. I have also made a few cosmetic changes to the roms section and the colecovision roms section. I am currently sorting our the game manuals section as well. I have hundreds of Atari and Coleco game manuals in TXT format and hope to have them ready for download in the next week or so.

12-08-2001 I've went Nintendo MAD

Ok, I have went Nintendo MAD the past 3 days. First I purchased a Super Nintendo, the same day I purchased an origional Nintendo with Carts, and before on the 9th I purchased 2 x Famicom Disk systems (shown below) with disks. One of the systems is in English and one is in Japanise. Both the famicoms are not powering up so any help with these would be greatly appreciated. I have also decided to add a Nintendo NES section to the emulators and Roms. I have been sourcing and downloading all the material I will need and hopefully should have something up by next month.

09-08-2001 Nintendo Famicom Disk System

I purchased this Japanise import Nintendo Famicom Disk system today. It came with 70 disks of games. This unit never sold in the UK but was available in the USA. I have found a few sites dedicated to this console (which is based on the origional NES) and there seem to be quite a lot of users still out there.

30-07-2001 Magazine Section PROBLEMS

I appolagise for the magazine section being down, this is due to work at the ISP. I will try and have this section re-uploaded in the next week. BUGGER, it always has to happen, just when you think you have something finally finished. Ahh well it is worth the work.

24-07-2001 Magazine Section NOW OPEN

The magazine section is now ready to be opened to the public. Magazines will include all issues of TV Gamer, C&VG, ZZap64, Commodore Format, JoyStik, New Computer Express, Crash and many others as I get them scaned. Please email me your comments regarding this section and also your own magazine scans, I could really do with some help from you out there. Also included in the magazine section are scans of the one of the earlist Video Game magazine's from 1978 called Television And Home Video, nice video ... shame about your hair mate !!

Ok the menu system has once again been updated to make way for the magazine sections and I have also split emulators and roms into seperate areas to allow growth in the comming months.

I have just decided to add a funny farm section. Each monthy we will look at some of the funnier sides of computing and retro collecting, check out the latest magazine addition on the right in Over Your Head Computing Magazine, and please please help me maintain this site by sending your funny pics or stories to me at the email link provided. I have been working hard on the magazine section this month and am hopefully ready to open it in the near future. 01-07-2001 Updates to Menu System Complete

I have re-coded the menu system to seperate some of the libraries and also to allow them to load quicker. Hopefully it will also appear correctly in 640x480 and 800x600 screen resolutions.
