Sega vs. Nintendo

When I say Sega vs. Nintendo, I want to know which Old School one you like better:

SMS vs. NES
Genesis vs. SNES
Sega CD vs. N64
Dreamcast vs. N64

Personally, I like Nintendo better, except when the dreamcast came out, which was the best of that generation.

What do you think?

There is no competition whatsoever. It is Nintendo all the way through. No doubts at all

I would say on balance that the Nintendo Range win the day however, out of that entire list the Dreamcast is my favourite and a very under appreciated system. The Dreamcast still has some of the best game versions ever.

I love them all that said :P

Nintendo, even though the Dreamcast was revolutionary... Still... Nintendo. :D

Nintendo is my favourite. Just recently acquired a dreamcast and only have a few games so I am neutral on it. :|

Interesting you should mention the Dreamcast. I have two of these in the collection and a lot of original games, over 100 I think. I have to say that although I have not put many hours on the Dreamcast, what I did play I really loved and there is somthing about the whole console, shape, image the controllers are very good, possibly one of the best ever.

The Dreamcast was really good and deserved to do a lot better. Interestingly I have 98GB of Dreamcast Roms that I plan to start and add to the collection on here in the Autumn. If I manage it, it will be the only complete USA Dreamcast collection available for direct download, no torrent or tracker just straight download.

Stay tuned.

One of the interesting things I just found out was the ability of the dreamcast to be able to run burned games with no mod. I just found someone with a small collection of dreacast games to borrow, guess what I will be doing over the next couple of days :!: :!: :?: :?:

Nintendo. from NES, SNES, and into N64 (gamecube was awful). I don't know, the 3 button Sega design just didn't feel right to me, especially when trying to push 'a' and 'c' at same time without pushing 'b' :headbang: if playing with your thumbs only. Besides that, N64 best console ever, period. :D

I have a few of these sitting on my storage drive: Chu Chu Rocket, Deep Fighter, Hydro Thunder, Jet Grind Radio, and Propeller Arena. I haven't got around to playing any of them because the DC emulators are aggravating to me, but if you guys have some good recommendations on some other great DC games (that aren't playable on a different system), I may have to sit down and get one of these emulators running.
which is better, in your guy's opinions, NullDC or Chankast?

i prefer nintendo over sega but i will say that, for a short time, i did own a dreamcast. i only had one game for it (it was disc2 of Resident Evil: code Veronica. luckly i had a save game file for the second disk :D ) and the cd-rom drive died a year after i got it. but while i had the dreamcast i liked it. i also had a genesis with the first three sonic games. but i still favored my nintendo systems over the sega ones.
